" The Bible is claimed to be the very word of God, but few Christians have ever read the Bible to see what it says. If they would read the Bible, most of them would probably be surprised and shocked as to what it says. With that in mind, let's examine the Bible to see what it says about Jesus (PBUH) and what he was supposed to have said and taught"

3. Did Jesus Authorise the current exisiting Bible ? Who authored the Gospels.
4. Is Sunday a holiday of the Pagan's or Christians ?
5. Is death because people Sin or is death a partition of the next eternal life ?
6. Son of God or Son's of God ? Who are they ?
7. Was Christ the last of the Messenger's sent to the Jews ?  Did he fortell his successor.

Let's us study some important Biblical Verses to answer the above Questions.

1. The Real Name of Christ ? Why is it almost forgotten ?
............................................................................................

A name represents who a person is to be.

Jesus never heard the name "Jesus".
He had a Hebrew name.
The name which Jesus heard was "Yeshua".

"Christ" is a title derived from the Greek christós, meaning the "Anointed One", which corresponds to the Hebrew-derived "Messiah". The name "Jesus" is an Anglicization of the Greek Iesous, itself believed to be a transliteration of the Hebrew יהושע Yehoshua or Hebrew-Aramaic ישוע Yeshua, meaning "YHWH is salvation."

In Islam, Jesus (Arabic: عيسى, commonly transliterated as Isa) is considered one of God's most beloved and important prophets, a bringer of divine scripture, worker of miracles, and also the Messiah. Muslims, however, do not share the Christian belief in the crucifixion or
divinity of Jesus. Muslims believe that Jesus' crucifixion was a divine illusion and that he ascended bodily to heaven. Most Muslims also believe that he will return to the earth in the company of the Mahdi once the earth has become full of sin and injustice at the time of the arrival of Islam's Antichrist-like Dajjal.

2. The Religion of Christ ? - Did he bring any new religion ?
..............................................................................................

Did You Know That Jesus Was sent to the JEWS ?

Sometimes - when we REALLY think about it... we can say 'yes' - I knew that !

But for the most part - too many rarely think of Him as Jewish.

Many christians grew up thinking that Jesus was a christian too! It sounds silly, but it's actually how some of people think.

Jesus was not the founder of christianity - Paul was !!

Mathew5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

By the above Verse from the Gospels, it is clear that he did not came to bring anything new, but to enforce what was the law, or the prophets. This is line to all the prophet's main objective. They came to this Earth to guide their people to worship none other than The One  Allah (God) the Creator of All, and the cherisher and sustainer of everything.

From Adam (AS) to Muhammed (SAW) all of them brought the same message - taught the one and only religion and that is the religion of GOD  (Monotheism)- Belief in Him Alone and Submission to his Will !!

3. Did Jesus Authorise the current exisiting Bible ? Who wrote the Gospels ?
.........................................................................................................................................

No Biblical scholar on this earth will claim that the Bible was written by Jesus himself. They all agree that the Bible was written after the departure of Jesus by his followers. Thus Jesus may not have witnessed the texts of the Gospels at all.

As for the Gospels (New Testament) were written by People almost 300 years after Jesus Death. The writers were not even Eyewitness Account .

As one reads the various gospel accounts, one is struck by the fact that, even when telling the same stories, they do not always agree on the facts.

Three of the New Testament gospels are termed “synoptics” (from the Greek word meaning “seeing together”) because they cover basically the same story. These are Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Of the gospel writers, only two of the apostles Matthew and John had known Jesus (Matthew 4:21; 9:9).

One of the synoptic gospels was also written by a man named John, whose Latin name was Marcus, generally known as Mark. He is said to have been the nephew of Mary, the sister of Barnabas (Acts 12:12; Colossians 4:10), which would explain why he accompanied Barnabas and his friend Paul on missionary journeys (Acts 12:25; 15:36-40; 2 Timothy 4:11). He later traveled with the apostle Peter, who called the young man “my son” (1 Peter 5:13). In fact, several early Christian writers indicated that Mark’s gospel comprised a collection of stories about Jesus that he heard from Peter. Barnabas, a native of Cyprus, was an early convert to the church (Acts 4:36), but there is no indication that either he or his nephew Mark had known Jesus.

4. Is Sunday a holiday of the Pagan's ?
......................................................................

Sunday is not at all a holiday defined by the Bible. The 10 commandments strictly imply that "Sabath" be observed in Saturday. Jesus did not change nor did he authorise someone to do it.

Acts 20:7 On the first day of the week, when the disciples were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and continued his speech until midnight.

One may note the above is from Paul not Jesus and it does not mention Sunday by name. No where in the Bible one may find "Sunday" written.

It was not until the fourth century that ecclesiastical and civil legislation was enacted forbidding work in a manner similar to the observance of the Jewish Sabbath. Constantine I decreed (March 7, 321) dies Solis (day of the Sun or Sunday) as the Roman day of rest [CJ3.12.2]:

"On the venerable day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country however persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits because it often happens that another day is not suitable for grain-sowing or vine planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost "

One can never prove from the Bible, where God sanctified Sunday as a Holy day in addition to or in the place of the Sabbath day.

The Indian Hindus celebrate Sunday as there weekly holiday. It is important to know that they worship idols, fire, and share excessive similarities with the pagan culture.

5. Is death because people Sin or is death a partition of the next eternal life ?
.............................................................................................................................................

No Messenger of Allah (God) -  not even Jesus have testified to this Paul's statement.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

One may quote the above verse in order to prove their belief. It is important to note that the above statement is not issued by Jesus (AS) but by Mr PAUL !!! Jesus did not testify to the above fact !!

"When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden they brought sin into the world. This meant that from then on all people would be born with original sin (the sin of Adam and Eve) and would be more likely to do wrong than right"

"Death" is not because of Sin. Not only humans but other living beings too die. Further all the messengers of Allah (God) from Adam (AS) to Muhammed (SAW) faced death. It will be blasphemy to call them sinners as they were models of Sinless, righteous People to be followed or to be idealised by other's in order to be successfull in both the worlds. (here and hereafter)

"Death" occurs weather you sin or not. By way of death you get to see the unseen and return to your creator with your deeds. The only way to meet the creator is through death.

A sample of after death life is what we witness daily. Everyone sleeps and wakes up. Have you ever imagined that this is a sign of the major Resurrection of the soul !!!

The logical point here is to note that the wages of sin (if not repented or forgiven) is hell and the wages of good deeds is paradise.

6. Son of God or Son's of God ? Who are they ?
....................................................................................

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The above illumination is based upon the work of a scholar of international repute, Dr. Raymond Brown. It informs us that the innovated concept of Jesus being the "only begotten son" of the Father was developed in the fourth century. It was injected by Jerome into the Latin Bible to refute the claims made by Bishop Arius (d. 336) and his associates that Father alone was really God and Jesus was made (created) and not begotten. For further information it is suggested to read the detailed text written by Dr. Brown in the 'Anchor Bible' Volume 29, 'The Gospel according to John (i)', published by Doubleday Inc., Garden City, N.Y. (1966), p. 13-14. Apostle John had acknowledged Jesus to be an "unique son" of God but not the "only begotten son" of God. It is quite understandable that since Jesus was born to Virgin Mary he was indeed unlike others and therefore unique. However, in that respect Adam the son of God (Lk. 3:38), was more unique being born without a father and a mother.

Below are further extracts from the Bible which gives more insight into the belief.

Mathew 5:9 Happy are the peacemakers: for they will be named sons of God.

Mathew 5:48 Be then complete in righteousness, even as your Father in heaven is complete.

Mathew 6:1 Take care not to do your good works before men, to be seen by them; or you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

Mary Magdalene went and conveyed that Message to the disciples. (John 20:17). This conclusively proves that the term "My Father" used by Jesus simply meant that the Almighty God was the Father of him as well as that of his disciples.

John 20:17 Jesus said to her, Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my Father, but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to my God, and your God.

The Catholic Church's position is that though there may be historical and scientific errors and contradictions, there are no theological errors or contradictions contained in Sacred Scripture. Any apparent errors are due to either our misunderstanding or a bad translation/transmission of the texts. Only the original texts are inspired, not the various translations and copies.

As far as we can know, it is most likely that Jesus was speaking to his disciples in Aramaic. Assuming that to be the case, most scholars believe he would have used the common term of the day. That would be "abba," or something like "daddy." It was common at the time for Jewish prayers to begin with some variant of the phrase "Our father." The Greek translation is the simple "pater," the common form of address for one's male parent. It's nothing fancy,
just a humble acknowledgment that we are God's children.

Thus it can be conclusively stated that "son of god" is just a phrase commonly used at those times and does not mean that Jesus was Son of GOD.

7. Was Christ the last of the Messenger sent to the Jews ?  Did he fortell his successor.
...................
............................................................................................................

Christ was without doubt the Last of the Messengers of Allah (God) sent to the children Of Israel (Jews). He was the Messiah which the Jews failed to recognize despite the miracles he performed and the signs he showed.

There are plenty of Biblical evidence stating that Jesus did fortell about the coming of  a messenger after him. A simple study of the Gospels reveals that. However one may be misled by wrong interpretations since the original Aramaic language is missing.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come

Comments - The "Spirit of truth"  as mentioned in John 16:13 is NOT the HOLY SPIRIT as it is widely believed.  One of the feature of the spirit of truth is that " he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak". There is not one instance witnessed by people where it can be proven that The Holy Spirit has spoken to people. One only has a feeling in the hear that the holy spirit is speaking to them, but that is an illusion which may be created by the Satan too !!

John 16:07 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

As per the above Verse it is further clear that the comforter is not the HOLY Spirit. Jesus lays down the condition for the comforter to come in the above verse. The comforter will come after Jesus departs the earth. One may note that the Holy Spirit was there before and during Jesus's present in the Earth. Find it surprising - the fact cannot be hidden for long !!

Genesis 17:2 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation

Without doubt, it is widely accepted across the Christian community that Prophet Muhammed (SAW) was through Ismael (AS) as promised by GOD in the above verse. Through Muhammed (SAW) came the great nation of Righteous People who worship Allah (GOD) alone and do not associate any partners with him and order good and enjoin in doing so and forbid wrong.
